What is attractive about studying in Kyoto?
Kyoto has several educational institutions that are among the bests in their respective fields.
Different types of universities, research institutes, colleges and a number of learning centers have made Kyoto a kind of education-friendly city.
How has your impression of Kyoto changed since coming here?
Before coming to Japan l had never heard about Kyoto.
I knew only about Tokyo, Mount Fuji, Atomic bombing on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and the word “Sayonara”, thanks to the popular Indian movie-Love in Tokyo (1966)
But after arriving in Kyoto, I was so surprised and kind of shocked to think that l was unaware of this wonderful place.
Kyoto City is the cultural capital of Japan.
While walking through the streets of Kyoto you will notice many ancient Japanese cultural things that you don get to see anywhere else in Japan.
Temples in Kyoto city are of global fame.
Tourists from all over the world visit Kyoto to see these temples.
My favorite place in Kyoto is Kamogawa River.
I feel so relaxed when i sit on the bank of this river and listen to the sound of river flow.
Personally, Kyoto is like my second hometown.
