Coming in after cafés, Kyoto international students said they most liked studying at home, where they make the rules: “If you can’t focus in a crowded place, I think home is the perfect place [to study]. If you study at home, you can do things at your own pace, and no matter what you do you won’t have to worry about bothering anyone else.”
