What is attractive about studying in Kyoto?
Why did I choose Kyoto? It’s because I’ve loved anime and manga since long ago.
I love samurai, and when l had a chance to study in Japan, of course I chose Kyoto.
How has your impression of Kyoto changed since coming here?
Before I came to Kyoto, I thought that Kyoto was full of history and tradition, but when I came, discovered that in addition to the traditional Kyoto, there’s also a modern Kyoto.
Kyoto’s trains and universities are very modern, but you still see people wearing kimono here and there, and l think it’s very interesting to see that.
Message to students in your home country thinking about studying abroad.
To everyone in Malaysia who is thinking of studying in Japan, l think you should choose Kyoto.
For me, Kyoto is the essence of Japan, and if you come to Kyoto, l guarantee you’ll have some experiences you’ll remember for the rest of your life.
