Maybe you just came to Kyoto and don’t have close friends to talk to when you have some problems, your problem is something that you don’t want to discuss with your friends, or so on. The situation would vary. In such a case, you may use consultation services provided by Kyoto City and Kyoto Prefecture.
If you prefer telephone counseling, Yorisoi Hotline provides a telephone counseling service in multiple languages.

You can consult with volunteer staff regarding various daily topics in multiple languages shown below by using a translation service through a tablet computer.

You can get advice on administrational concerns such as procedures at a municipal office.
