The Kyoto Institute of Design is located in Kyoto's Sakyo-ku close to Ginkaku-ji Temple. There are 6 courses available: Visual Design, Character Design, Comic Illustration, Interior Design, Fashion, and Handmade Studies. Students can have opportunities to work with companies as part of their studies.
Our faculty members and employment support staff ensure to provide finely tuned supports to international students for their future university education and job hunting. We aim for cultivating high-level creators with great technical strength and a rich flow of ideas.

・Examination for Japanese University:200 points or above ・Japan Language Proficiency Test:Above N2 For those who have studied at a Japanese Language Educational Institution recognized by the Ministry of Justice for 6 months or more, and have a 400+ on BJT (Business Japanese Test), 525+ on JPT (Japanese Proficiency Test), or 600+ on the AC Level J.TEST of Practical Japanese. *There is also a system for Interview, Writing Test, and Entrance Fee (¥150,000) excempted "International Scholarship Students". |
